How to create videos for your social media with AI and Flow

11/11/2025
  • Do you own an eCommerce and want to know how to create videos for your social media using AI? Then, pay attention to this post.

  • Previously, we have dedicated this article to the creation of images for eCommerce with AI. The truth is that you have been quite interested, so we thought that we could go deeper into the use of artificial intelligence in the creation of digital content, especially in video thanks to the Flow tool.

If in that first post we focused on product images for online stores, in this second one we are going to explore other media, channels, and even formats. The idea is that you start to get much more out of the new technology, and that you do not end up underusing the potential it has.

Get ready because, only with the examples that we are going to show you here, surely many light bulbs in the form of opportunities will light up, and both your online store and your editorial calendar will be nourished by it.

    Let the prompts start working!
  • Why use AI in content creation for an eCommerce

  • Generative intelligences are something revolutionary and very novel. Well, not so novel anymore, because they have evolved so fast that their use has become widespread very quickly and, within that circle, this means that they train better and evolve more.

Many people have decided to stay on the sidelines. I understand that for some people this may seem like a certain threat, that it has drawbacks and they are not perfect, but just as true as that is the fact that they have stopped being an option.

Your competition is already using it, so it will be better to start paying a little attention and start gaining skill.

In the case of marketing for eCommerce, you may ask yourself: what tasks can I use AI for? Many, really…

At the level of texts for SEO, results analysis, ad creation, keyword selection for campaigns, definition of a content calendar… the possibilities are endless.

That said, for now we are going to continue with the generation of images and videos as content for eCommerce, and we will come back to those other topics if you are interested in new posts.
  • Creating videos with AI for the social networks of my eCommerce

  • Content marketing has also fallen fully into generative AIs. In reality, we have never been so close as now to that phrase: “if you can think it, you can do it.”

That is why we are going to see some more examples. The following contents are generated based on a real image, which has gone through Nano Banana to remove the background and correct the lighting, and afterwards we have generated some videos using the Flow tool (highly recommended).

I think the results will surprise you.

To try Flow for free, you only have to access this website. You will have to register using a Google account, because it is also within the suite of Artificial Intelligence tools of the American company.

Once inside, click on the “New Project” button.
  • Now we can start converting:

    • Text to video: we describe an action and an environment, and Flow creates it. It is impressive, but we have less control over the final result. We already know that AIs tend to hallucinate a little, even if the prompt is defined in detail.
    • Images to video: obviously this is more suitable for eCommerce, since we will always start from real products, with their own characteristics.
    • Ingredients to video: Flow calls ingredients the different elements it combines. You can upload an image of a model, that of a dress and that of a handbag, for example, and ask it to combine everything. This is also very interesting for creating content with AI on the social networks of your online store.

For our examples today, we are going to choose the images-to-video option. We will also configure it in vertical format, thinking of reels or TikTok, but we could do it in panoramic format if we preferred it for other media where it fits better.

We keep the rest of the configurations as they are, that is, using the Veo 3.1 model and 1 result per request. We could ask for several versions and save some time, but we would spend many credits (each version is 20) and it is not of our interest.
  • Ad for Meta with AI

  • Everything is ready. The first thing we are going to do is create an ad thinking of Meta, something like reels, as we have already mentioned.

We choose images to video and upload the image of our green backpack, once processed with Nano Banana.

A static image with a neutral background surely would not receive great engagement, right? That is why we are going to do a bit of magIA (sorry for the bad joke).

We are going to ask Flow to generate a video from this image, in which there is a zoom on the most interesting details of the backpack, that it looks dynamic and includes sounds. The result is this:
  • PROMPT: make an Instagram-type ad video with an elegant tone and smooth rhythm, showing the details of the product.
  • 360 video

  • Let’s suppose that we want to sell in an even more explicit way, so we need to incorporate the price visually dynamic within our video.

Now we are going to give a bit more movement and three-dimensionality to the image; for that we want the camera to rotate around the backpack. Also, as this is transactional content, we are going to include the price of the product.
  • PROMPT: generate a video with a white background, rotation of the product and price at the end (€49.9).
  • But we can make it more attractive; let’s highlight that we are talking about a special offer, of a product that is new in the store and, at the same time, emphasize the details. That is, somehow, we combine the two ideas we have seen.
  • Environment and context video

  • As you can see, with a series of fairly basic instructions, we can already achieve very interesting results, both to publish on our website and to distribute them on our brand’s social networks.

But we can go a little further. Do you remember the phrase “if you can think it, you can do it”? Well, it is no longer a motivational phrase printed on a mug.

For that, we are going to ask Flow to recreate a complete environment and, moreover, to serve us to demonstrate the great capacity that the backpack has. Let’s see what it is capable of.
  • PROMPT: place the backpack on the table of a designer coffee shop, on the table a latte coffee in a porcelain cup, the backpack opens and from its interior comes out a closed laptop, a notebook, several pens, a wallet, a small makeup case.
  • To make this result as precise and realistic as possible, we could have used the option to work with ingredients. That is: add images of the open backpack to show the interior, the specific laptop, the pens… but as an example, you cannot deny that it is impressive.
  • How much does Flow cost?

  • This is the least pleasant part of the post: the tool is spectacular and, of course, it is not free.

To be able to use Flow intensively, you must register in Google AI Ultra. We are talking about an investment of €200 per month (although there is now an offer that allows you to use it for 3 months at half price).

Is it expensive? Well, it depends on each person’s capacity and the number of videos that you are going to use in your eCommerce, but seeing what it offers, it seems to me a reasonable investment.

Making a video session with a professional team implies a much higher outlay and, in addition, keep in mind that you can concentrate content generation in one or two months, and then unsubscribe until you need it again.
  • Did you think that creating video with AI for your eCommerce was much more complicated?
