  • Discover the tool that not everyone is taking advantage of. We explain what affiliate marketing is.

  • Among all the strategies that work on online marketing, we can highlight the affiliate marketing which, for some reason, is not of the most widespread. You will learn what is and how it works.
  • What is affiliate marketing?

  • It consists of a strategic agreement between a seller and a support manager(blogs, websites, online media...) under which, all sales that are referred by the latter, shall receive a percentage as payment.
  • How does affiliate marketing work?

  • The affiliate or publisher receives a unique tracking code to label his links. In this way, the affiliate can track all sales carried out by himself.

Usually, there is a control panel so that both parties can check and ,more or less in real time, the monthly evolution and payments and income forecast.

This means that a management software is necessary. It can be tailored built or by contracting any of the specific platforms available with their business solutions in the affiliate marketing market.

Concerning the payment, we have to say that it depends on 100% agreement that may be reached between affiliator and affiliate. If we look at the example of some of the most powerful players in the market, typically establish a different percentage according to the product category.
  • So does so for example Amazon, ranging between a less than modest 1% for electronic and mobile products up to 10% in the case of fashion, accessories and jewelry.
  • The best of this strategy from the point of view of trade is that it is absolutely connected to success. Therefore, CPA is just the percentage applied to the selling. Investment in media of any kind is not required since if you do not sell, then you do not pay..

Here we talk to you about pros and cons of affiliate marketing
