  • We are going to analyze in depth some of the most interesting applications and platforms to do affiliate marketing. Do you know these affiliate marketing tools?

  • In this blog I talked recently about what is affiliate marketing, their pros and cons

If after giving a thought to it, you have decided to take the plunge and put hands to work, you want to learn about some affiliate marketing tools that you can use in your business to avoid having to make a custom development. These are our favorite.
  • Why using affiliate marketing tools?

  • We are going to be super direct: because it is simply the best. Especially when you do not have previous experience in this type of strategy.

The platforms that you can find on the market:

    • They are more than tested.
    • They have features that you would never come to mind from scratch that are very useful.
    • They are solid and functional
    • They are integrated with relative ease in addition to technical support.
    • They are not overly expensive solutions taking into account what they provide (and which takes in pay off its own platform
  • Which affiliate marketing tool should I use?

  • It depends on your particular needs and how comfortable you feel with each. In the end, the basic features, such as users tracking, are the same in all. So, take a look at which we bring you below and try that you can see more interesting.
  • #1 - Awin

  • One of the best known is probably awin.com. They boast of having one of the biggest network of affiliates in the market, with more than 100,000 active publishers which, only in 2017, they got to close 148 million sales worldwide. It is not bad, right?

The main advantage of Awin is that it has this important volume of affiliate internationally (allowing to reach almost any niche or professional activity), but with a customer service in Spanish, which greatly facilitates the task and the solution of technical or management issues.

In addition to CPA cost per acquisition focused performance model, Awin is also very interesting to capture leads and allows to design campaigns in this regard. In other words, in addition to direct sales you can opt to records via email, samples request, catalogues download or infoproducts, callback – like calls (the classic "we will call you") and apps downloads. It is very complete.
  • #2 – Tradedoubler

  • This is another big global affiliate marketing platforms. With a network even bigger than that of Awin (we would talk about 180,000 supports), Tradedoubler is very popular.

The solutions offered to the owner are very powerful and are included in these 3:

    • TD Convert: it is the commercial software that has moved its platform for 17. It is very solid and its follow-up is really reliable. Another strong point is the depth of its analysis and the amount of relevant data that its reports provide.
    • TD Connect: a solution you can almost customize. They themselves call it their private brand. With it you can track your campaigns on any channel (even without cookies).
    • TD Engage: really it is something a little different, because it is oriented to programmatic campaigns and not to affiliate marketing as such. However, it is very interesting and it is available.
  • #3 – Webgains

  • It adds nothing revolutionary with respect to the other two options we have seen, but the truth is that it has a more than interesting volume of media and affiliates (250,000), which will always be an option to consider.

What is certain is that Webgains bets on something that will be a cross-cutting trend in the coming years: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning taken to affiliation. In fact, they have signed a recent agreement with IBM to promote this technology. Sincerely: it sounds very interesting, so stay tuned.
  • #4 - Lead Dyno

  • We will not say that it is a homespun platform, but it is much more affordable at all levels that those we have commented so far.

The main advantage of this affiliate marketing tool is that it is very easy and quick to implement. It has less options available but the value for money is very good.

That does not mean that it is not advanced. With Lead Dyno you can do things that go beyond tracking publishers IDs. For example, you can recruit new affiliates through email marketing and other automation, using e-mail with transactional emails for affiliates and reports for the affiliator.

As we said, the price of Lead Dyno is very affordable. For less than $ 50 a month you can start to create your own affiliate program and see how your customers are begin to sell on their blogs and social networks. It is very easy, customizable and integrates with ease, so you lose nothing giving it a try.
